We Need Your Support
Since 1987, with the help of our partners and allies, the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA) has grown into the leading immigrant advocacy organization in Massachusetts and New England. To celebrate our 20th year, the New American Fund was created, providing our donors an opportunity to support MIRA's core functions - organizing, training and education, communications, advocacy and policy analysis - and to ensure that MIRA continues to be a dynamic organization. Your support will: Ensure that all New Americans are given the opportunities to successfully embark on their American Dream;
Train and educate over 1,000 community-based providers every year in current immigration laws and services.;
Advocate for public policies that support vibrant immigrant and refugee communities;Organize and build leadership in the immigrant and refugee communities;
Amplify the voices, leadership and stories of New Americans through our communications work with local, national and international media.
