Apply to be an NAIP host site
MIRA offers partnership in the AmeriCorps New American Integration Program with community-based organizations providing direct services to immigrants and refugees in Massachusetts. The partnership opportunity consists of eleven months of AmeriCorps Member Service per Member. To read more about our current and past AmeriCorps host sites, please click on the menu items to the right.
The primary goal of NAIP is to expand economic opportunity within refugee and immigrant communities. NAIP leverages AmeriCorps member service to provide: 1) Integrated job readiness training and English for Speakers of Other Languages (VESOL) instruction to refugees and immigrants; and 2) Citizenship assistance. AmeriCorps Members will gain experience in the immigrant and refugee services field under direct supervision from the Host Site, and Host Sites receive expanded capacity to fulfill their respective missions. The selected NAIP host sites work collaboratively with the NAIP Team to provide the above services.
We are now accepting applications from organizations to host for the 2019-2020 program year! The application deadline is March 29, 2019.
