This six-day training is open only to non-profit staff seeking accreditation and attorneys, and follows a curriculum designed by the Immigrant Legal Resource Center to give practitioners the basic knowledge they need to apply for U.S. Department of Justice accreditation and serve the community. It features legal experts in various aspects of immigration law from both non-profits and the private bar.

Participants purchase and use the ILRC’s A Guide for Immigration Advocates. A limited number of scholarships are available for MIRA organizational members. More information will be provided once the 2020 session is posted.
