Veenit Singh is the Program Coordinator for the New American Integration Program (NAIP), he assists the team with training, recruiting, and managing the AmeriCorps program at MIRA. Veenit came to the US as a kid and worked with his parents at their local perfume shop. Before MIRA he was with the Peace Corps in Fiji where he worked with local villages and schools for sustainable development. Veenit hopes to one day be involved in the academic and policy fields to help his community. According to Veenit, the best part of the job is working with the communities that he represents and that create change for others.
