MIRA联盟回应美国最高法院关于在美海地人临时保护身份的裁决

波士顿，马萨诸塞州 — 针对美国最高法院就特朗普总统终止海地人临时保护身份令所作出的裁决，马萨诸塞州移民与难民权益倡导联盟（MIRA）执行主任伊丽莎白·斯威特发表了以下声明： “撤销约35万名在美海地人的临时保护身份，对于许多将这里视为家园的人来说，这是不人道、不道德且令人发指的行为。强迫这些人返回他们已经逃离的极度危险和暴力的处境，将使无数家庭和社区支离破碎。持有海地TPS身份的人对我们州和国家的构成至关重要，这一裁决将对我们州的劳动力和经济造成灾难性影响。尽管这一裁决令人痛心，MIRA依然坚定致力于维护所有移民的权利与安全，并与海地社区站在一起，共同发声。” 马萨诸塞州移民与难民权益倡导联盟（MIRA）是新英格兰地区最大的非营利组织，致力于促进移民和难民的权利与融合。
