29th Annual Immigrants Day at the State House 2.0 Day 2: State House (Free event) Together in Action: Wednesday March 19.2025

Together in Action: At Immigrants’ Day you will see a cultural performance, and hear personal stories from state and community leaders. Folks will have the opportunity to speak directly with legislators about policies that impact immigrant communities.

Advocates will meet with legislators and/or legislative staff to advocate for:

Groups with scheduled meetings will receive a folder at the check-in table.

All participants are welcome to do Literature Drop off. MIRA staff and volunteers will be waiting for you!

Event Overview

  • Register your group today CLICK HERE
  • Individuals do not need to register again at the event entrance
  • ID is not required
  • Interpretation will be available in: Portuguese, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Dari
  • Groups with scheduled meetings will receive a folder at the check-in table
  • All participants are welcome to do Literature Drop off Mira staff and volunteers will be waiting for you!
  • QR codes to find your legislator will be displayed
  • this is an indoor event – The Great Hall, State House.
  • entry through the Hooker Entrance and Bowdoin St. Entrance
  • everyone must go through SECURITY – be prepared to wait in line (metal detector)
  • NO FLAGS or posters are allowed in the building
  • avoid taking pictures of participants’ faces – individuals who do not wish to be photographed will wear a red dot sticker
  • there will be a shared resources table for organizations to display their handouts
  • buses will be coming from Northampton and Lowell – more info: organizing@miracoalition.org
