INSPIRATION AND WAYS TO TAKE ACTION

Poster campaign:

Resist Poster Art examples

Artists for Justice and Democracy, a group of local artists, has created a number of posters that express support and appreciation for our immigrant community members. Here are the posters – feel free to share on social media and/or print out your own posters (11″x14″). They have printed up a number of the posters and are looking for people to:

1. Help develop and coordinate a poster campaign to reach out to businesses, agencies, institutions to ask them to display posters prominently and/or,

2. Pick up and put up posters at their agency/business etc. Looking to display the posters where they can be seen publicly, or if not public facing, at least in a place that gets a lot of internal foot traffic.

The Senate is racing ahead with their ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’, which includes the largest cuts to Medicaid in the program’s history, as well as significant rollbacks to the Affordable Care Act. The proposed cuts would rip away health care coverage from hundreds of thousands of people in Massachusetts who rely on it for life-saving treatment and medications, in order to pay for huge tax breaks for the wealthy

We may see the text for the Senate’s proposed bill as early as Monday evening, so we have the chance to stop these cuts if we act now.

Please join HCFA and SEIU as they continue to call constituents in key states and ask them to tell their Senators to oppose any cuts to health care.
