Alexia Perez-Lucas

MACI Intake Coordinator
Alexia (she/her) joins MIRA with several years of experience in the human services and nonprofit sector. While studying political science in college, she worked at a homeless shelter supporting residents, and after graduating she served as a HomeBASE stabilization case manager helping families navigate housing challenges. These roles strengthened her commitment to community-centered work and deepened her understanding of the systemic barriers many people face.

She was inspired to join MIRA because she deeply believes in advancing immigrant rights. As the child of immigrants, this work is personally meaningful to her, and she is committed to supporting communities facing increasing uncertainty and vulnerability.

Outside of work, Alexia enjoys going to concerts, exploring new music, and spending quality time with the people closest to her. Whether she’s discovering a new artist or unwinding with friends and family, she values moments that bring joy, connection, and balance to her life.
