Nicolaus Dahl is the Citizenship Fellow at the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy (MIRA) Coalition.

Nick (He/Him) was born and raised in the Boston area, leaving in 2021 to attend Dartmouth College in New Hampshire where he recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English and Biological Sciences. While at Dartmouth, Nick was active in his community, volunteering as President of the local community kitchen, an intern at the district’s Public Health Council, and a member of various other organizations, including FUERZA, an advocacy group supporting migrant dairy workers in Vermont and New Hampshire.

Nick is also an avid filmmaker, using film to provide space for stories that would otherwise go unheard. In his free time, he loves cooking, woodworking and playing basketball.

Now, spurred by recent developments in federal immigration policy and a drive to support immigrants’ citizenship journeys, Nick returns to Boston to help serve the people of his home city.
